September 12, 2017 – OTTAWA – This morning the CHEO Foundation held the media launch for the 2017 CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery. The 27th edition of CHEO’s annual fundraising mega-lottery kicked off at the Minto Dream Home in Manotick which is the centerpiece of the grand prize package. Last year, the lottery sold out early for the third year in a row and lottery organizers are hoping that streak will continue for the kids at CHEO.
This year’s grand prize package is worth $1,799,000 and includes the Minto Dream Home fully furnished by La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, $100,000 cash, a 2018 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 from Myers Automotive Group, house cleaning for year from Molly Maid, $5,000 in Farm Boy gift cards, moving services from Fred Guy Moving and Storage Limited, and legal services from Mann Lawyers. The Dream Home is located at 585 Chriscraft Way in Manotick.
The second prize is worth over $156,000 and includes $100,000 cash, a 2018 Nissan Rouge SL Platinum AWD from Myers Automotive Group (or $32,000 cash), a $10,000 gift card from the Rideau Centre, a trip for two to the Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Marlin Travel and Transat, and an Ottawa Senators 300 Level Flex 20 season ticket package.
To be eligible for the amazing Early Bird Package valued at over $111,000, tickets must be purchased by midnight, November 17, 2017. This package includes a 2018 Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab 4×4 from Myers Automotive Group (or $36,000 cash) a 2017 SeaRay SPX 190 boat (or $42,000 cash), a $10,000 Cabela’s Gift Card and a trip for two to the Barcelo Maya Colonial in Riviera Maya, Mexico from Marlin Travel and Transat. You could also win one of 2,600 Early Bird bonus tickets that will give you another shot at the array of prizes in the final draws.
There is an incredible line of up of prizes this year and the popular 50/50 draw is back. Last year’s jackpot reached $1,079,315 which meant our 50/50 Draw winner took home $539,657.
