Team Morgan, made up of Ottawa Professional Firefighters, has been fundraising for cancer research at CHEO for six years, raising in excess of $150,000. Morgan, the daughter of Geoff Wall, a fellow firefighter, and Tania Wall was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer at the age of six. Despite aggressive treatment and many challenges she met each day with a smile. Morgan succumbed to her disease on October 18, 2010, she was a vibrant, courageous and brave little girl whose short life impacted many people, including all her “uncles and aunts” on the Ottawa Fire Service. Because of them, and her family and friends, Morgan continues to have a huge impact.
Let’s cure cancer one child at a time, together we can make a difference!
