Founded over 20 years ago, Rattle Me Bones has raised well over one million dollars for musculoskeletal and bone cancer research. Rattle Me Bones is an exciting Halloween run with distances to appeal to each and every runner. With five great options – the 1km–JiggleBone Run (Family Run), 5km-FunnyBone Run, the classic accredited 10km-WishBone Run, and the brand-new half marathon CrazyBone Run, runners have a chance to participate in the run that best appeals to them. All runs start and finish at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. Fifty percent of the funds raised will support world class research into new treatments for bone cancers, cancers that affect mobility and new treatments to make these bones healthy again. Funds will directly support the work of Dr. Leanne Ward and Dr. Joel Werier at CHEO.
