2016 CHEO Telethon on CTV

We introduced viewers to many CHEO families during the 2016 Telethon including Malika a 17 month old born with a hernia and kidney failure. Malika spent the first 17 months of her life at CHEO and now awaits a transplant. They also met little Ollie Biggs who had cancer before he was born, and 17 year old crash victim, Nick Francis who had to learn to walk and talk again after brain surgery. If you missed any of this year’s stories you can watch them by clicking the pictures.

Please be proud of the fact that your donations provide the specialized medical equipment and training that our staff requires to care for the physical, emotional and social needs of our young patients. Your generosity means the world to the doctors, nurses, researchers and especially the children and youth who rely on CHEO and the CHEO Research Institute.

Funds from this year’s Telethon are already making a difference in the lives of children and youth.
