Winners announced in the CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery

01/10/2018 (Ottawa) Earlier today, the draws were made for the first and second prizes as well as the 50/50 cash prize in the sold-out 2017 CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery during the CTV News at Noon.

We congratulate Sophie Rybak, ticket number 008514, who has won the Grand Prize package worth $1,799,000 that includes the Minto Dream Home with all furnishings by La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, $100,000 in cash, a 2018 Toyota Tacoma 4×4 Double Cab from Myers Automotive Group, house cleaning for a year from Molly Maid, legal services from Mann Lawyers, moving services from Fred Guy Moving and Storage and a $5,000 gift card from Farm Boy.

Maria Rita, Hassan Afeltra and Abdul-Hussein, ticket number 065710, have won the second prize that is worth over $156,000 and includes $100,000 cash, a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL Platinum AWD from Myers Automotive Group, a $10,000 Gift Certificate from CF Rideau Centre, a trip for two to the Barcelo Bavaro Palace, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Marlin Travel and Transat, and an Ottawa Senators 300 Level Flex 20 Season Tickets Package.

The winners of the 50/50 Draw are David Hyde and Ruth Acton, ticket number 3377547. The jackpot reached a total of $1,141,345 which means David and Ruth will take home $570,672.50.

Ticket holders can check their tickets online at www.dreamofalifetime.ca as of 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 11. A complete list of all winning numbers will also be available on the website. All winners will receive a confirmation letter from Miratel Solutions Inc. within two weeks detailing how to claim their prize.
